I
was born sometime in late January of 2000. Since I'm not exactly sure of the date, my master celebrates my birthday every
Superbowl Sunday. As far as can be determined (from my physical characteristics and habits) I am half French and half Maltese
(Poodle/Maltese mix). My weight fluctuates between 15-16 lbs., depending on the time of day. I'm considered a small, however
when I wear one-piece outfits (from collar to tail), I'm a medium due to the length of my body which is about 18". I consider
myself a winter, although many have told me I look good in any color!
I was adopted from the Dallas S.P.C.A. by a terrific
person name Tony on 15th September 2000. Coincidentally, it is the same day as his parents wedding anniversary. I am very
grateful to him for feeding me great food and giving me lots of toys to play with and several warm beds to sleep in. However,
to his chagrin and to my overall preference, I mainly sleep on his own bed!
I guess my living high on the hog has been
my way of making up for the difficult childhood I had before being adopted. Being abandoned on the streets of Dallas because
I'm a mixed breed hasn't really been easy on me. I don't understand it though. Humans strive to be original and try to look
unique from each other. Some women even spend thousands of dollars on original designer dresses and shoes to set themselves
apart. Why wouldn't someone want a haute-couture dog as myself instead of a pret-a-porter purebred which everyone seems to
have the same one of these days? I agree with Isaac Mizrahi when he says that you can't have the right fashion sense without
the right dog! Even Isaac has a mixed breed living at home with him!
Anyway, thanks to Tony, I'm doing great. Because
I have become a spoiled high-maintenance dog, Tony (who is not only my master, but my agent as well) is putting me to work
as an actor/model/entertainer. I'm not much of an entertainer though, and acting is not really my strong point. However,
I've been told by the same circle of friends that I am VERY photogenic. So until Tony starts paying to send me to some advance
training or acting class, I'll stick to what I can do best, look good in front of the camera!
If you love my master's
photographs of me, click here or go to the "hire my master" tab on this website. On
many occasion, I allow him to photograph other animals. Sometimes, even people! Tony loves meeting other dogs (and their
masters) and would be a great photographer for your dog. He's also for hire as a photojournalist for weddings and personal
biographies. Check it out!
